Kate Harbaugh is a communications and brand strategist for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont. She earned her BA in literature from the University of New Hampshire and her MFA in text and image from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Since Kate was a little girl, the act of storytelling and writing were central to her world. Her love for the written world has followed her and also propelled her through high school, college and then finally graduate school.
Over the years, Kate has worked as a visiting writer and artist for the Norris Cotton Cancer Center Palliative Care team, The Center for Health and Aging at Dartmouth, AVA Gallery and Headrest.ORG. She feels strongly that connecting people to story helps them heal from past trauma, find their voice and believe in the future.
Currently, she lives in Richmond with her partner Colin and their dog Franklin.
